I am an African American female, pronouns of she/ and her. I obtained my master’s in psychology in 2012 at the University of Phoenix. I continue the path of education to become more in depth with therapeutic approaches and earned a second Master MSW in 2023 from Capella University. During my therapy career, I have worked with people from various backgrounds, economic status, mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, and abuse/neglect. Also, military veteran who struggles with chronic disorders such as schizoaffective/ schizophrenia/ Post Trauma Stress Disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder. At this time, my focus is in working with clients that would like to address ways to decrease anxiety, depression, domestic violence, substance abuse. ADHD, identifying triggers for manic depression. I also would be focusing on healing clients from past trauma.

My primary focus is working with children, adolescents, and adults. My goal is to meet you where you are in life/ situation. I can provide an acceptance and safe space where you feel comfortable processing your emotions, providing empathy to your feelings. assist with empowering you to take back control on with your healing journey.

During our first session I will ask the reason for seeking therapy at this time. I will also ask internal factors that are motivating your to seek therapy. I will go over the process of therapy which is driven by you. As your therapist, I am here to listen and provide insight into how to improve your quality of life. I will provide support with issues at hand along the healing process.
